Badges and Tickets

This is the location where you can print badges and tickets for the attendees. An application must be accepted before badges and tickets can be printed. The page set-up for how tickets and badges are printed is under Settings, Tickets and Badges’. Please see the ‘Tickets and Badges’ article for more information.

Printing one attendees badge

The default for an application is for an attendee to have not had their badges printed. These are not attached to the email confirmation sent to attendees so must be printed by the organisation.

To print a single attendees badge, go into their application and click on the ‘Badges and Tickets’ tab. When the print badges button is clicked, the badge will generate as a PDF for that attendee in a new tab. When clicking back to the SignMeUp screen, a confirmation pop up will appear, asking if the badges were printed successfully. If you click ‘Mark as printed’, then they are removed from the list of attendees badges to be printed.  If you click ‘Cancel’ they stay as not printed and are on the list of badges to be printed.  If you click the wrong button, clicking on ‘Not printed’ or ‘Printed’ next to ‘Print badges’ will reverse the option.  Even once they have been printed, they can be reprinted.

Printing multiple attendees badges

If you need to print multiple attendee badges, for example before the start of the event, you will need to go to the Attendees homescreen, accessed by clicking on ‘Attendees’ on the navigation bar. In the top right is a button that says ‘Print badges’.

When clicked, this will generate a PDF report of all the attendees whose badges have not been printed. If an attendee has had their badge marked as printed, it will not show in the PDF document.  When returning to the SignMeUp page, a pop-up will appear asking if you printed the badges successfully.  If you click ‘Mark as printed’, then all of the attendees whose badges are on the PDF document will be marked as printed and will not show again. If you click cancel, they will all stay as un-printed.

If you click ‘Mark as printed’, and then have a problem with the printer, the only way to create the document with all the badges on again is to individually open each application and mark as unprinted. It is therefore recommended that you wait until all the badges are printed successfully before clicking ‘Mark as printed’.

Printing one attendee's tickets

The default for an application is for an attendee to have not had their tickets printed. There is an option to choose for tickets to be sent out on attendees confirmation emails, to be printed at home. However, not all attendees will be able to do this and therefore some may need to be printed by the organisation.

To print a single attendees ticket, go into their application and click on the ‘Badges and Tickets’ tab. When the print tickets button is clicked, the tickets will generate as a PDF for that attendee in a new tab. When clicking back to the SignMeUp screen, a confirmation pop up will appear, asking if the tickets were printed successfully. If you click ‘Mark as printed’, then they are removed from the list of attendees tickets to be printed.  If you click ‘Cancel’ they stay as not printed and are on the list of tickets to be printed.  If you click the wrong button, clicking on ‘Not printed’ or ‘Printed’ next to ‘Print tickets’ will reverse the option.  Even once they have been printed, they can be reprinted.
