People with administration rights will be able to log into SignMeUp and access the applications behind the scenes. Everyone who logs in will see the same dashboard, no matter their access permissions. This is the first screen you get too. However, if an administrator tries to click into an area that they do not have access to, they will see a ‘Forbidden’ message and will need to contact the organisation account holder if they think they should have access to this area.
Flagged applications
The red section of the dashboard. This means that one, or more, of the given answers within the application have caused the application to be flagged and the application requires admin review before it can be accepted. If auto-accept has been turned on for attendees this application will have had a space reserved for them within the required group.
Some examples of why an application might be flagged include; the answer of ‘yes’ has been given when asked if the applicant has any medical conditions, the volunteer role requires a DBS check but valid certificate details have not been provided or a volunteer has answered ‘yes’ to one of the declarations.
Pending applications
The blue section of the dashboard. All of the application process has finished and the application is ready to be reviewed and accepted. All flags have either been cleared automatically by the system or manually by an admin. If auto-accept has been turned on for attendee applications they will move straight to accepted and will not be seen in the system as pending.
Processing applications
The orange section of the dashboard. There are parts of the application which the SignMeUp system is automatically processing. This includes references and DBS applications. Most of this will be done automatically but the administrator will need to check on the process of the DBS and references - for example if a reference isn’t valid.
Accepted applications
The green section of the dashboard. All of the application processing has finished and it has now been accepted. All flags have either been cleared automatically by the system or manually by an admin. The applicant will have been sent an ‘application accepted’ email. If the applicant is a volunteer their details will now be visible to their team leader.
Graphs
The graphs are designed to help you see the flow rate of applications between the opening and closing date. It will show the daily attendee applications and the daily volunteer applications, once they have started being received. Each day that an application has been received will be marked with a little blue dot. You can hover over the dot to get more information - when was the application received and how many were received on that date. The scale at the side changes automatically depending on the number of applications it is tracking.
