Once a volunteer application has been submitted an automated email will be sent to each referee provided. It will ask them to follow a link to SignMeUp to provide the reference.
They will be told who the reference is for, the event they have registered to volunteer at and the role(s) they have applied for. They will be prompted to only complete the form if they are the named referee and they feel they know the volunteer well enough. If these do not apply they are requested to contact your organisation.
They will then be asked some questions about the volunteer and asked to provide further details when necessary.
